Certification Committee


Terms of reference and responsibilities

The committee determines the certification requirements for those wishing to obtain certification in Individual Schema Therapy at all levels (Standard, Advanced, Supervisor, Trainer). This includes specifying any special certification requirements (i.e., mandatory academic and licencing requirements) the number of hours of supervision and any other specific requirements like personal therapy etc.  It also includes specifying the procedures for applying for certification (at all levels).  The Committee should also ensure that up to date Information about all these aspects is easily available on the website.  The individual certification committee report to the Training and Certification Coordinator and may work closely with the Training Committee and attend TCAB meetings.

A Chairperson and up to four additional members.

The committee reports to the Training Coordinator, the Certification Coordinator and the Executive Board.
