Transformational Chairwork with Scott Kellogg, Ph.D

15th November Dr Kellogg is the keynote speaker at the Hungarian Cognitive and Schema Therapy Association’s Annual Conference.

He will do the keynote and two further workshops on 15th November at the conference.

Language: English (with Hungarian translation)

16th November 2019: 1 day workshop on Transformational Chairwork with Dr Kellogg

Description:

Transformational Chairwork is centered on the belief that there is a healing and transformative power in: (1) Giving voice to one’s inner parts, modes, and selves; and (2) Enacting or re-enacting scenes from the Past, the Present, or the Future

The Transformational Chairwork Training is designed to introduce therapists to the practice of Chairwork, in an active, creative, and clinically-useful manner using clinical story-telling, role-plays, and live demonstrations.

One-Day Workshop Schedule:

1.    Resolving Inner Conflict and Making Decisions;

2.    Healing from Grief and Loss; and

3.    Developing the Capacity for Self-Compassion.

The participants will also be introduced to the Four Dialogue Matrix as a framework for both listening to patients and for creating effective Chairwork interventions.

Transformational Chairwork trainings are powerful and intense.  Participants are encouraged to be responsible for their own mental health and to take breaks and/or decline to participate in any work that they do not wish to engage in.  There is a debriefing period after each of the three clinical practices.
