I live in Cape Town South Africa where I practice as a schema therapist and provide training and supervision in schema therapy. I offer training workshops contributing to an ISST approved certification program. I run a weekly supervision group at my office and provide individual supervision via the internet. I also provide some research supervision through Rhodes University - I retired from a full time post there at the end of 2011. I have always been interested in psychotherapy integration and was privileged to attend seminars with Jeff Young in 1985. After that I followed his writing closely. I have long been interested in imagery and chairwork and have written articles and book chapters on this. I enjoy being a schema therapist because I am always learning something new and feel privileged to be part of a society whose members share my enthusiasm and from whom I continue to learn.
