ISST Approved Certification Training in Group Schema Therapy

Trainers: Joan Farrell, Ph.D., Ida Shaw, M.A.

Learn Group Schema Therapy (GST) from its developers! (Farrell & Shaw,1994, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2018) in our 2025 training programs. The training is conducted live using ZOOM. The role-play part of the curriculum will be set in breakout rooms with a dedicated trainer in each room for observation and supervision. Limited to 20 participants, Trainer Ratio 1/10. Questions and discussion are easily facilitated on ZOOM. Powerpoint and handouts will be provided.

Introduction to  GST 24 hours

18 hours, 9 Didactic, 9 Role-Play

6 hours, You will experience Group Schema Therapy Self-Practice /Self-Reflection

Advanced GST 18 hours

9 didactic or demonstration, 9 practice

April 4,5,6, 2025

The supervision needed to meet ISST certification requirements will be offered separately.

20 hours for Standard and 40 hours for Advanced.

Those who complete the Standard level training and meet the certification requirements for Advanced certification are guaranteed a place in the advanced training program.
