The supervision skills training consists of 4 webinars for those who are ready to complete supervisor training* or for already accredited Schema Therapy supervisor/trainers wanting to advance their skills. This excellent training package, created by the ISST Supervisor Skills Development Committee, provides comprehensive training including video vignettes demonstrating skills. May 18th - Introduction to Schema Therapy supervision

·  Establishing an attuned and safe space for supervisees

·  Personal and professional growth in the supervisee

·  3 roles of the Schema Therapy Supervisor – Teacher, Mentor & Therapist

June 15th - Case Conceptualisation and supervisee challenges

·  Supervisor as therapist and limited reparenting agent

·  Training supervisees to use the case conceptualisation documents

·  Assisting supervisees to grow in their Limited Re-parenting role

July 13th - Schema Therapy Competency Scale and supervisee challenges

·  Obstacles for supervisees working with Narcissistic clients

·  Working with supervisees who have an Unrelenting Standards schema

·  Assessing each element of the STCS

August 10th - Impediments to supervision and further skills with supervisee challenges

·  Working with a defensive supervisee, including empathic confrontation and identifying modes and schemas in supervisees

·  Impediments to continuing supervision and options

·  Working with avoidant supervisees

·  Assisting supervisees with their own activation with difficult clients

Cost: $400AUD for all 4 webinars (12 hours, required for new supervisors) or 

$100 per webinar (for each 3 hour topic)

*ISST requirements for Advanced Level Schema Therapists who are interested in becoming supervisors in Schema Therapy. This training is now an ISST requirement for those who began certification training in January 2014 or later. You are eligible to attend if you will have 3 years beyond your advanced certification by August 2020.

Current Supervisors who have completed the previous mandatory 3-hour webinar are also encouraged to register for any or all of these modules.
